This seminar introduces the work of a modern systematic theologian. Students should learn to master a critical reading of a mid-difficult modern theological text. They are required to search in theological handbooks and dictionaries for unfamiliar terms, statements, theories, doctrines, schools, books, authors. Students are also encouraged to ask critical questions. The aim of the seminar is to learn to interpret a mid-difficult theological text, to formulate the line of thought with their own words and lead a critical discussion with the particular author. This year we will read Jürgen Moltmann, God in Creation. An Ecological Doctrine of Creation. Translated by Margaret Kohl (London: SCM, 1985).
