This course is based on the archaeological and Biblical records. We will focus on the horned altars from the Philistia (Ekron) and Judah/Israel (Beersheba, Megiddo, Dan) as well as on the non-horned altar from Arad, Tel Moca and their comparison with the rules in Exodus.
